Description

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Kavitha Sarma. The lab investigates mechanisms of RNA mediated epigenetic gene regulation by employing a combination of biochemistry, cell and molecular biological methods, and genome wide approaches.

Candidates with research interests in chromatin biology,
epigenetics, and non- coding RNAs are encouraged to apply. A strong background in protein biochemistry and mammalian cell culture experience is required. Experience in RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq technologies is preferred.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree and must have at least one first author peer reviewed publication. Interested individuals should apply by submitting:
