Community Legal Centres Queensland (CLCQ) State Conference 2021

This year's Community Legal Centres Queensland State Conferencewill be a hybrid event allowing attendees to attend in-person or online*. The conference will be held on 17 and 18 June at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane Conference Centre**.

Our 2021 conference program will give you the opportunity to strengthen your skills and develop your knowledge. 

We have already confirmed some great speakers for this year’s conference including:

• Opening keynote speaker, Emeritus Professor Judy Atkinson, an expert in understanding inter-generational healing and recovery from trauma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

• Day two keynote speaker UQ Associate Professor Chelsea Bond.

• Welcome to Country performed by Songwoman Maroochy.

This conference is for community legal sector workers, centre directors, lawyers, social workers, volunteers and decision-makers.

The registration cost includes full conference programming and a drinks and canapes networking event on Thursday 17 June , between 4:30pm - 7pm.

*Please note, online attendees will be able to access the morning plenary sessions (keynote and panel session - 9am-12:30pm) streamed live from the conference centre on 17 and 18 June. You will also receive recordings of these sessions. The afternoon workshop sessions will not be included in this online registration.

**Please note, the Hotel Grand Chancellor conference centre is separate from the hotel with its own entrance. COVID-19 safety protocols are in place at the conference centre and attendees must adhere to the protocols in place.
