UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your submissions! The deadline for abstract and postdoc slam submissions has now passed, so we are no longer accepting additional submissions. Conference Registration will remain open until midnight EST on April 18th, 2021.

UPDATE: Due to the virtual nature of the conference, poster presenters will have 5 minutes to present their research. Poster presenters may be flexible in choosing a presentation format (e.g. traditional poster, Microsoft PowerPoint Slides, etc.), permitting that they cover the materials requested in the Poster Presentation Judging Form. To be eligible for one of the $500 poster presentation prizes, presenters MUST adhere to the Poster Presentation Judging Form. We encourage your creativity in creating a robust and dynamic virtual poster session! 

UPDATE: We have pushed back the abstract and postdoc slam registration deadline dates. The new deadline to submit your poster abstract and/or postdoc slam registration is April 8th! The conference registration deadline remains April 18th. 

UPDATE: The first 100 conference registrants will be awarded a $20 gift card for lunch!  Gift cards will be delivered by email closer to the event. 

UPDATE: The health and safety of our postdocs, speakers, and guests are our top priority. In light of the rapidly escalating COVID-19 situation, we have decided to hold the conference virtually on April 22nd, 2021. We will update you regularly to keep you current on our operations.

The Johns Hopkins Postdoctoral Association (JHPDA) and the Homewood Postdoctoral Association (HW-PDA) invite you to our 7th Annual Postdoctoral Conference on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, from 11:00am to 5:00pm EST. 

The conference is open to postdocs in the DMV Area including, but not limited to:

• All Johns Hopkins schools and institutes (including Homewood Campus, East Baltimore Campus, Carey, SIS, etc.)
• Carnegie Institution for Science, Baltimore
• Howard University
• NIH Bayview Campus
• NIH Bethesda Campus
• University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB)
• University of Maryland, College Park (UMD)
