Calling all undergraduates, postgraduates, postdocs and ECRs involved or interested in Health and Wellbeing research!! The Wolfson Early Career Researcher Committee invites you all to take part in the
Fifth Annual Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing Early Career Researcher Conference
taking place at Durham University on 21 June 2022.
The Wolfson Early Career Researcher committee is made up of PhD
students and postdocs early in their research career and focuses on
nurturing an early career research (ECR) community in Durham across all
departments.
This
conference aims to showcase the wide range of Health and Wellbeing
research at Durham University and promote interdisciplinary work amongst
early career researchers. The conference will include a keynote speaker, presentations, flash talks and posters. All disciplines are welcome and encouraged to submit and attend. Given the recognised importance of interdisciplinary work, talks should be aimed at a general academic audience.
Come and showcase the importance and impact of your research! There will be prizes for best talk, flash talk and poster (selected by the ECR committee).
Abstracts for talks (10 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions) can be submitted by everyone, however if you would prefer to submit an abstract for a flash talk (1 slide, 3 minutes) or a poster (for the poster session) please note this on your application.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 1 May 2022, 300 words (max).
Please submit your abstracts here.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Wolfson ECR Committee and will be selected on the basis of set criteria. Successful participants will be notified by the 23 May 2022.
For general admission please use the event brite link
to register your attendance. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on
the day so please outline any dietary requirements on the form.
We look forward to welcoming you to the conference and learning about your work.
