Two 2.5 year Postdoc Positions in Applied Plant Biochemistry at University of Copenhagen in Denmark

The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science at University of Copenhagen is offering two 2.5-year (30 months) Postdoctoral fellowships commencing 1 July 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. Two 2.5 year postdoc positions in Applied Plant Biochemistry and Analytical Chemistry for the Green transition. The postdoc’s duties will include research within plant biochemistry and analytical chemistry as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Description of the scientific environment

The two postdoctoral positions are financed by the Novo Nordic Foundation and related to the two projects “EcoSap: triterpenoid saponins as green solutions for future sustainable food production” and “SAP-FATE Biopesticides for sustainable agriculture – Fate, biological activity, and environmental impact of saponins in soils”, and are led by Professor Søren Bak. An assistant professor, a postdoc and a PhD student are already employed, and the project collaborates closely with other research groups at the department and internationally.
