Postdoctoral researcher in Criminal Law and Procedure

The Department of Law of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher in Criminal Law and Procedure.

Under the direction of Professor Silvia Allegrezza:

• Realise researches in the field of criminal law and criminal procedure, (European and comparative criminal law and criminal procedure; forensics and criminal investigations; financial crimes and enforcement).

• Publication of articles in scientific reviews and collective books, drafting of reports and contributions to conferences.

• Cooperate on scientific research and management of several European and International research projects.

• Assist with teaching activities, one to three hours a week and contribute to tutoring students.

• PhD in Criminal Law and/or Criminal Procedure, preferably with a specialization in comparative criminal procedure and/or forensics;

• Excellent knowledge of theory of criminal law and procedure, of European criminal law and procedure and good knowledge of financial law;

• Able to autonomously conduct research at a post-doctoral level;

• Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in English; good understanding of French. A third
