Description

ECRs Networking Session 1: Accelerating Biosciences DiscoveryAccelerating Biosciences discovery in FoNS – a series of events dedicated to Advanced Research Fellows and Lecturers to showcase their research to Imperial’s academic community (this event is for Imperial researchers only)

Please REGISTER by the 29th June. Joining instructions (Microsoft Teams link) will be sent to you the day before the event.

The Accelerating Biosciences theme aims to bring together expertise from across College and external stakeholders to integrate automation, AI, biotechnology and molecular tools and technologies to systematically address fundamental questions in biology. Technological advances will both lead new biological discovery, rapidly identifying targets for biological intervention, as well as translating discovery into applied biotechnology applications (in drug discovery, food security, industrial biotechnology etc).

The FoNS theme champions  Professors Ramon Vilar and Geoff Baldwin have organiseda new series of showcasing/networking events for Early Career Academics in FoNS within the ‘Accelerating Biosciences’ cross-departmental theme. Please read below the schedule for this first session. [Note: we are having our second session on the 13th July, please check schedule and how to register in the College event’s website]
