Air University Research Showcase

Virtual Event | June 7-8

The Air University Research Showcase, in partnership with MGMWERX, will highlight student work accomplished in this academic year!

Are you ready for some top-notch research? The Air University Research Showcase, in partnership with MGMWERX, will highlight student work accomplished in academic year 2021. This showcase will feature 15 virtual panels that put the student research on display with input from industry experts! You will have the opportunity to engage with Airman and industry SMEs as you listen, chat, and learn about all that’s going on at Air University.

Curious about what topics we’ll be covering? Panel topics will include China, Cyber, Diversity, JADO, Leadership, Logistics, Total Force, Russia, Space, Resilience, International Relations, Regional Conflict, Teaching and Learning, SOF/Asymmetrical Warfare, and Humanitarian Disaster Response.

What’s in it for you? This virtual event will give you the opportunity to hear from Airman that have done extensive research on topics important to the military and potentially those in industry. Ever wonder if your work and research could align with that of Air University? Here’s your chance to interact with the Airman researchers, the instructors, and industry subject matter experts. Ask your questions! Get acquainted with challenges and possible solutions. It’s time to see behind the veil at Air University and get a firsthand experience with the academic work of our Airmen.

“Air University students do fantastic work, which we want to amplify outside of campus,” said Dr. Margaret Sankey, director of research at Air War College. “Showcasing it alongside other subject matter experts who work in these fields is a way to build student and Department of the Air Force networks of expertise and contacts, while helping the students polish effective ways of getting their work out into spaces where decision-makers can use it.”
