"The Agri-Food systems are in a storm to change and adapt in response to one of the grand challenges of our era, the ""Food-Health-Planet"" challenge. The talents with the right skills and competencies are requested to propose winning solutions to tackle this grand challenge in its multiple dimensions. This is why EIT Food has created the following offerings:

1. The Innovator Fellowship, a programme for Postdoctoral Fellows and Young Professional wishing to impact the Agri-Food systems by transforming lab-ideas into business ideas. The Innovator Fellowship's objective is to empower talents to co-create, address, and gain experiences on excellent ideas capable of bringing their careers a step further, and fostering innovators ready to respond to global food challenges. Strong and multi-disciplinary working teams formed under Innovator Fellowship join a Hackathon, two advanced training boot camps delivered by high-level trainers and receive one-to-one support by expert mentors.

2. The flagship Global Food Venture Programme is on the other hand, EIT Food's dedicated offering to doctoral students working on challenges in the food & agriculture space in Europe. The programme fosters every year, the entrepreneurial growth of 50 talented PhD students by providing high quality hands-on learning in business creation, industry insights, one-on-on coaching and pan-European mobility. This unique 6 month entrepreneurial journey supports PhD students turn innovative research into market value.
