About this event
How can Germany and California join forces in taking bold action for a climate-neutral energy sector?

The climate crisis has now impacted almost every part of our world. In order to achieve our clean air, climate, energy and development goals we need to accelerate the global transition to clean energy and decarbonize our economies on both sides of the Atlantic.

The virtual 2-hour "5th annual California Germany Bilateral Energy Conference (CGBEC)" will highlight the ongoing partnership between California and Germany as we work together to accelerate the global energy transition.

This event will focus on two specific, essential topics: offshore wind deployment and the market development of renewable hydrogen.

Why you should attend:
  • identify the challenges and opportunities for offshore wind and renewable hydrogen
  • chart a path forward to zero-emission energy supply
  • discuss market design and regulatory framework for the energy system of tomorrow
  • discover opportunities for collaboration between California and Germany

Who should attend:
  • industry leaders
  • researchers
  • policymakers
  • high-level government officials
  • civil society

Join our online conference and shape transatlantic actions towards clean energy transition!
