About this event

How2GetStarted for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students is a How2RMIT session where current students show you everything you’ll want to know to get started this semester.

This 1 hour session is delivered online via Microsoft teams and includes how to:

Get organised: Learn about timetabling, classes, student card, fees, loans, and other 2021 student admin essentials

Navigating RMIT: Find out how to get your questions answered at RMIT, find your way around online and on campus, and learn about important COVIDSafe campus protocols.

1. Register for this session (with your RMIT student email eg. [email protected]) by clicking the green 'Register' button above and following the prompts.
2. Download the Microsoft Teams desktop app via the Office 365 Education website (log in with your RMIT student email eg. [email protected]).Click here for detailed installation instructions (PDF). If you're attending the live event on the web, use a media-source extension (MSE)-enabled web browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
3. You will be sent a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to the online session. At the session start time, just click the link to log in to the session via Microsoft Teams using your RMIT student ID. You must be logged in with your RMIT student account to attend the session.
