You are invited to attend The Sarnia Lambton Energy Symposium with a focus on, “Hydrogen Towards Decarbonization of Our Economy”

This year the symposium will be held for two days, November 18 & 19.


The online conference will be available on Microsoft Teams. After registration, you will receive a link 1 day prior to the conference.


The Sarnia-Lambton Energy Symposium is an excellent opportunity to learn about new and emerging trends in the energy sector.


This year with a specific focus on hydrogen, the symposium is a platform to share experiences with the stakeholders of this growing market and industries. It is virtual, free and provides an opportunity to hear from leading experts and companies on the hydrogen strategy for short/long terms and its opportunities in the net-zero future.

November 18th, 2021

  • 2:10 pm to 2:40 pm: Robert Stasko, Hydrogen Business Council, Barriers to decarbonizing transportation with hydrogen - and how to address them.

  • 2:40 pm to 3:10 pm: Sellathurai (Sam) Suppiah, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Ltd - Synthetic Fuel Production from Hydrogen Generated from Clean Energy.

  • 3:10 pm to 3:40 pm: Edward Stuart, Hydrogen Optimized - Hydrogen Production at Scale.

  • 2:10 pm to 2:40 pm: Eric Guter/Jessica Lof, Air Products Canada - Hydrogen for Mobility – Fueling the Energy Transition for Heavy-Duty Transportation.

  • 2:40 pm to 3:10 pm: Dr. Dave Layzell, Canadian Energy Systems Analysis Research (CESAR) Initiative - Lessons Learned to Date from the Edmonton Regional Hydrogen Hub.

  • 3:10 pm to 3:40 pm: Mark Kirby, Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA) Canada's Hydrogen Landscape - The Role of Hubs.
